Laura Wait

Denver, Colorado 
Born in Canada, Laura Wait emigrated to the United States in 1955. She studied art history at Barnard College, and lithography, printmaking, and bookbinding at Croydon College of Art in England. She interned with Don Etherington at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center in Austin, Texas, and with Anthony Cains at the Book Conservation Institute in Ireland. She is owner of Bookworks Conservation & Design Studio in Denver and current co-president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Guild of Book Workers.
