Coptic binding with handmade paste paper and onlays of dyed vellum. Leather strips on front and back boards. The top edge is sprinkled. Handmade paper end sheets.
The design is a non-literal expression of the book's poetry. The binding will be a traditional French laced on binding of full leather, dark blue and black calf, featuring Martello Tower silhouetted against the night sky. Two-on sewn pattern, with the original covers bound in. Rough-edge gilding on the head and gold tooling on the covers and spine.
