Wanda Willard Smith

Between 1963 and 1993 Wanda Willard Smith (1923–2013) served as faculty secretary and Wesleyan research assistant to Professor Albert C. Outler and to his successor, Professor Richard P. Heitzenrater, then as administrative assistant to the Bridwell Library director. In 1994 she returned to the library staff as the Center for Methodist Studies research archivist, continuing to work at the library until 2006 and assisting with transcription projects from home until shortly before her death in 2013.
