Founded by Professor Fred D. Gealy in 1939, the Seminary Singers have been an important part of student life at Perkins for more than seven decades. The choir’s February 1966 tour included two concerts in Monterrey, Mexico, followed by performances in Harlingen, Mission, McAllen, Austin, and Waxahachie, Texas. Carlton R. Young conducted the Seminary Singers from 1964 to 1975.
