Discovered in Perkins Chapel basement, presumably from the old chapel in Kirby (now Florence) Hall, this bench was resurrected for use in the library by Bridwell staff members Page Thomas and John Hooper. It was refurbished in 1989 as part of the library renovation funded by the J. S. Bridwell Foundation.
