This Eragny Press book was produced in collaboration with Diana White, a gifted translator and painter who was a longtime friend of the Pissarros. According to the book’s colophon, the exhibited frontispiece was “designed by Diana White & engraved on the wood by Esther Pissarro. The double border and initial letters were designed by Lucien Pissarro and engraved by Esther Pissarro.”
