The Holy Bible, Containing the Old Testament, and the New: Newly Translated out of the originall tongues: & with the former Translations diligently compared and revised, by his Majesties speciall commandement. London: Robert Barker, 1614. (B-68)

In this smaller octavo Bible of 1614, the blank page preceding the New Testament was inscribed by members of the Ffettiplace family of Oxfordshire. The pair of inscriptions at the top records the births of Mary and John Ffettiplace in 1685 and 1687, while the lower inscriptions likely refer to their father, John Ffettiplace, who was born in 1661 and died on September 10, 1704.
