Pax Christi award

Of the many honors granted Albert Outler during his lifetime, he considered the Benedictine Order’s Pax Christi award one of his favorites. Received in 1987 at St. John’s University of Collegeville, Minnesota, the award honored Outler for his efforts to foster dialogue between Roman Catholic and Protestant Christians.
