Ministerial Credentials, South Georgia Annual Conference, 1927 – 1933

Albert Outler felt a strong calling to be an itinerant southern Methodist preacher like his father, Rev. John M. Outler (1870–1944). To that end, he became a licensed local preacher in 1927 and was admitted on trial to the South Georgia Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South in 1928. The document shown is Albert Outler’s preacher’s license, signed by his father.
