Two Honors

Throughout his teaching career Albert Outler received many special honors. The two shown here were awarded in the same week. On May 11, 1966 Outler was elected a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Two days later World Outlook magazine named him “Methodist of the Year.”
