Perkins Perspective, June 1964

The series in the Albert Cook Outler Papers termed “The Scholarly Enterprise” comprises Outler’s published writings with accompanying research files, drafts, and correspondence with publishers. To represent the series, eight books by Dr. Outler are shown. These works demonstrate the breadth of his academic interests including psychotherapy, church history, theology, ecumenicism, John Wesley, and evangelism. Four items supplement the monographs: an issue of Perkins Perspective celebrating the release of John Wesley, a publicity piece promoting That the World May Believe, a large post card from the Executive Committee of the Central Conference of Central and Southern Europe thanking Outler for writing Evangelism in the Wesleyan Spirit, and a photograph.
