Jacob Denner, a popular preacher of the “Dompelaar” Flemish immersionist Mennonite tradition, was known for his strongly emotional sermons and writings. His ministry was instrumental in promoting Pietism among Dutch-speaking Anabaptists. “Jacob Denner's Christian and Edifying Reflections on the Sunday and Festival Gospels of the Whole Year” is a posthumous compilation of his published sermons.
