Triple boards attached binding, dark green goatskin for covers and doublures, beige goatskin for middle boards. Sculpted relief depicting ocean water movement. Hand-carved, hand-blown glass set within the front and back covers depicting two main elements of the story: the fishermen's life and their wives in village waiting with worry. The binding won the prize for Original Book Object at the 6th Biennial De la Reliure d’Art en Pays Basque, Saint Jean de Luz, France, 2001.
