The only published work of the Jesuit missionary Adrien Parvilliers, this immensely popular account of the Passion was translated into English, Dutch, German, Breton, and Spanish. This illustrated pocket-sized edition comprises eighteen chapters recounting the Passion from the Last Supper to the Ascension, with narrative descriptions followed by prayers.
