Judith Thompson

Dallas, Texas 
Born in Palo Alto, California, Judith Thompson received her B.A. in Art from the University of California at Davis. She has since studied with Jan and Jarmila Sobota in Dallas, Texas and with Tini Miura at the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, Colorado. Currently she works in her own studio, Ampersand Hand Bindery, in Dallas.

Full leather binding of bisque goatskin with inset cathedral windows in front and back cover. Windows of multi-colored leather onlays and black-tooled lines covered with transparent vellum. Spine decorations of multi-colored onlays. Gold-tooled title on spine.
