Don Etherington

Brown Summit, North Carolina
Born in London, England, Etherington studied with George Frewin at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, England. From 1960 to 1970 he taught bookbinding at Southampton College of Art. He came to the United States as the Assistant Restoration Officer at the Library of Congress and later Chief Conservation Officer of the Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently President of the Conservation Division of Information Conservation, Inc., Brown Summit, North Carolina.
