Archives of the North Texas Annual Conference

The North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church includes 301 churches in twenty counties. The Archives of the North Texas Annual Conference collects and preserves records of enduring value created by the conference. In addition to these official records, the Archives also collects the records of closed churches, local church histories, ministerial papers, and photographs of individuals, groups, and events. Currently measuring 170 linear feet, these resources are available for use by conference leaders, historical researchers, and genealogists. Bridwell Library has hosted the Archives of the North Texas Annual Conference since 1965.
