Decorated with an extremely colorful floral border, this small-format Quran features cloud-shaped areas of interlinear gilding. The effect seems to present the sacred text as if it is floating among clouds in the sky. Well-preserved throughout the later portions of the volume, the manuscript retains its original stamped leather envelope binding with fore-edge flap.
