John Cennick (1718–1755).

An evangelist and hymn writer of Bohemian descent, Cennick served the Methodist movement and the Moravian Church in England and Ireland. By the time of his death at age thirty-six, he had helped establish more than forty churches. Shown is one of four hymnals produced by Cennick.
