Collaborative Study Room

This room reserved for collaborative study was added to the building in 2013, the vision of Roberta Schaafsma, Bridwell Library director from 2007 to 2018. The multi-use space is furnished with rolling tables and chairs,  equipment for sharing up to four laptop displays, a wall-mounted  video screen, and a lectern for class presentations and preaching practice. Framed broadsides are displayed on the walls, including a facsimile of Genesis 1 from the Gutenberg Bible at the Library of Congress, of particular interest in comparison to Bridwell’s Gutenberg leaves.
