Albert Outler was an active participant in the work of Thanks-Giving Square, a park, chapel, and museum in downtown Dallas promoting “the spirit and unifying value of giving thanks in our community, nation and the world.” The exhibited photograph shows Albert and his wife, Carlotta Grace Smith Outler (1910–2001) at Thanks-Giving Square, possibly at the November 25, 1976 public consecration.
