An ongoing series of intentional dialogues between the Roman Catholic Church and the Methodist Church developed as a result of the Second Vatican Council. This group portrait shows Catholic and Methodist leaders meeting near Rome, October 15–18, 1967. Since that time, an international commission has met every five years to continue deepening interdenominational relations.
