Personal note listing reasons to stay at Yale and reasons to move to SMU, 1950

Albert Outler served on the faculty of Perkins School of Theology for twenty-eight years, from 1951 to 1979. From 1979 until his death in 1989, Outler then held the title of professor emeritus. The records in the Perkins School of Theology and SMU series concern his teaching responsibilities and involvement in campus life outside of the classroom.

The first item shown is a note written by Outler in 1950 as he considered the possibility of teaching at Southern Methodist University.
