This variant issue of the popular London 1780 miniature Bible is bound in red morocco with elaborately gilt spine and boards, all edges gilt, and marbled pastedowns and endpapers. A contrasting dark leather medallion with Christ’s monogram (“IHS”) is found on both the upper and lower boards.
