The sole edition of this selection of psalms and hymns is handsomely engraved and hand-colored throughout, with each song accompanied by a vignette and musical notation. Three songs, including the exhibited tune “My Mother,” are presented as double-page engravings. This copy, with the bookplate of Marjorie Moon, the noted children’s book scholar, collector, and bibliographer, is in a contemporary binding and includes a twelve-page publisher’s catalogue of “books and fancy articles.”
