This pamphlet is an attractive early nineteenth-century English provincial edition of Isaac Watts’s Divine Songs issued on blue-green paper with the frontispiece (on display) and final printed page pasted to the wrappers. The frontispiece portrays Dr. Watts conducting a service with both adults and children in the attentive congregation: an old woman reading (on the lower left), a boy holding an open book (on the lower right), and young girls kneeling obediently (in the center).
